Our story

We opened Weston Bull in January 2026, in the old Meating Room on Liardet Street, with one idea: a local where everyone is welcome, every night of the week.

It’s a family pub first. The kids have a room of their own and a menu from $13, dogs are welcome, and the footy is on the screens. The week has a shape people plan around: trivia on Tuesday, $29 steak and the Jackpot Joker ($1,700 to win) on Wednesday, a free beer with a burger on Thursday, live music on Friday, $1 wings and $16 cocktails on Saturday and schnitty on Sunday.

The kitchen

Head chef Bhishup Abichandani cooked at T-bone Coombs, Pialligo Estate, Otis and Onred before coming to Weston.

He cooks the pub food we all grew up on, properly: house-crumbed parmis, Angus burgers in milk buns, pizza out of the oven and 300g grain-fed steaks with brandy jus. New specials go up on Instagram first.

The team

Over in Coombs, T-bone carves a 1kg T-bone to share, with cocktails and something on every night.
